Rebirth is one of the first pieces of the new collection Pauline has created after creating her brand new art studio and art gallery in Loulé, Algarve, Portugal.
As she strongly slowed her creative production for over a year in order to focus on the the refurb process of her new place, studio and gallery, she realised that even while she wasn't creating artworks, a new style was birthing inside of her and waited to be channeled into life and matter.
This original painting - REBIRTH - is the result of this quiet time. Starting from an original canvas and painting created in Belgium back in 2021, it's been transmuted into something brand new, fresh and vibrant in 2024.
This piece combines layers, different textures and patterns created with different techniques. It is organic and the different whites make the brighter colours pop and create beautiful pastels tones. As you observe the artwork, you get transported into the different layers of not only the patterns and textures but also the depths of the different colour tones.
It will remind you that you too, you have this power inside of you. The power of transmutation, to let go of your old blockages and patterns, in order to become the person you were really meant to be, aligned with your soul calling and your deepest truth.
It will show you that the magic is in the silence and the quiet space that holds the power of transformation.
